Our 3D systems capture 3D shapes by analysing multiple synchronous sequences of images. The 3D shapes can then be rendered in Maya or XSI as animated, textured figures as in the example below -

For photorealistic rendering the 3D shapes are simplified and textured with photographic detail from the subject - resulting in photorealistic 3D renderings (including unlimited 3D camera movement).
